L2 writing as a scaffold for L2 speaking accuracy

Although second language (L2) writing is a popular topic among SLA researchers, the fact that L2 has potential to act as scaffold for speaking accuracy often overlooked. This study's objective was provide empirical evidence can be used improve of oral discourse. Twenty-three Novice and 21 Intermediate university learners Russian participated in study. They completed text reconstruction task by working with original “notice gap” using both written spoken modes recall. Both forms recall provided sufficient opportunity improving lexical diversity produced texts and, additionally, semantic learners. Only showed improvement their accuracy, however. Further research investigate ways incorporating tasks communicative classroom activities warranted. Письменные навыки в иностранном языке как инструмент для улучшения аккуратности разговорной речи. АННОТАЦИЯ Несмотря на то, что письменные являются популярной темой среди исследователей, тот факт, практика письма имеет потенциал улучшить аккуратность устной речи, часто упускается вниманием. Цель данного исследования заключалась предоставлении эмпирических данных о том, могут использоваться устного дискурса. В исследовании приняли участие двадцать три ученика русского языка иностранного начинающего уровня и один—среднего уровня. Они выполнили задание, включающее себя письменную устную реконструкцию текста последующую работу с оригинальным текстом целью обнаружения ошибок их исправления.
